NOT CALLED JINX

Since their formation in early 2005 in the capital city of Berlin, rock band NOT CALLED JINX has already conquered the music scene in Germany. It was only a matter of time that the band around lead vocalist Kilian made a stance and attracted an ever-increasing and loyal fan base. These dudes, who are around 22-23 years old, continue to fascinate their listeners with a mix of Pop/Rock/Alternative that always leave an already enchanted audience craving for more.

The certainty and complexity of NCJ's remarkably arranged songs (three voices, three vocals - one sound) also made an impression with other co-musicians and colleagues in the music scene. As they pursue their young music career, the band already achieved high recognition by being a front act or by playing as a tour support for famous bands such as All Time Low, The Audition, 5Bugs, Itchy Poopzkid, Royal Republic etc..

Since 2007 NOT CALLED JINX have played large rock festivals in Germany. The band has also performed over 200 rock concerts in major cities throughout Europe and Asia.

Finally, the band ventured their first overseas tour in 2010 where they participated at the "Java Rockin' Land Festival" in Indonesia, also known as the largest rock-festival in Southeast Asia. Playing in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bandung, NCJ were headlined at the festival together with The Smashing Pumpkins, Dashboard Confessional, Stereophonics, Wolfmother and other famous international acts from the US, UK, and Australia.

Together with producer Florian Nowak (5Bugs, Kain, Pinboys), NOT CALLED JINX have recorded their first album called Phoenix Arising which was launched in the end of April 2011 in Berlin, under the label Monster-Artists and publisher BMG Rights.

In Fall 2011, NCJ was given the honor to support the Swedish rock band Royal Republic on their European Tour in 10 countries.

Right now Not Called Jinx is preparing fresh new ass-kicking materials for their 2nd album and they'll be back in the studio in April 2012.

Definitely a band to watch, NOT CALLED JINX is at the beginning of their next adventure -- to charm an international following.
